Assistant Principal's Message

Welcome parents and students to another exciting year at Brookdale Elementary School, home of the Eagles.  We are excited about this school year and anticipate a year of greatness.  We are continuing to strive for academic success by shaping our students to become college and career ready by infusing the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate in our lessons and activities.  Parents we solicited your support this year and welcome your assistance to ensure that all our students have every opportunity for success.  In order for this to happen, we must acknowledge that learning does not stop at school; it continues at home.  Listed below are a few websites that engages students in educational fun and provides parents with additional information on academics such as College and Career Ready Standards.

Listed below are a few reminders that everyone need to be aware of:

·         The school doors open at 7:15 a.m. every day.

·         The school day begins at 7:45 a.m. each morning.  Please make sure your                                           child(ren) arrives on time every day.

·         Breakfast is served from 7:15 a.m. and ends at 7:40 a.m.

·         All visitors must report to the front office to sign-in and receive a visitor’s pass.

·         Students must wear school approved uniforms every day.

·         On every 4th Tuesday, school is dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

 

Brookdale Elementary School exists to provide effective teaching and learning through equitable, high expectations and digital learning environments to ensure academic success for all students through collaborative partnerships.
