Brookdale Elementary School  Goes  Pink

The staff and students at Brookdale Elementary School wore PINK on Oct. 18, 2013 in an effort to raise awareness about breast cancer.   October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same.  It doesn’t matter how pink you go, dress pink, eat pink, party pink or work pink.  Just Do it…Help spread the word…. Breast Cancer: Early Detection Is the Best Prevention!
